Mick Foley, sous contrat avec la TNA, aurait déclaré que son match face à Ric Flair, lors d'Impact le 7 Octobre, pourrait être le dernier match de sa carrière de lutteur.En effet, Mick Foley a répété durant une interview qu'il espérait que son match face à Ric Flair mette fin à sa carrière de lutteur.

"I think it's safe to say I'm worried it's the last really good sentence I'll ever construct. Wrestling being what it is, it will then become a semicolon and an extended run-on sentence. But in a perfect world with a perfect ending, you'll never see me in the ring after October 7, 2010."

Foley a ensuite ajouté ceci :

"You never say never, but in a perfect world with a really great match - the type of match I think I can draw out of myself and that Ric can draw out of me, it will be the last time I ever set foot inside the ring."

Foley a aussi parlé de sa feud actuelle qu'il mène face à Ric Flair, il dit qu'il essaiera de puiser quelque chose de son passé avec Ric Flair afin de se "sentir vivant" de nouveau, dans un ring.

Comme prévu, Jay Lethal a récuoéré son titre de la X Division dans un house show hier soir.
